Photography has been part of Eric Strong's life since childhood; his first cameras include a “Camroc” camera designed to fly on top of his model rockets and an official Boy Scout Camera. Growing up in Northern California provided Eric with many enjoyable outdoor experiences. Eric’s formal college education centered on the mathematics, statistics, and engineering fields. He left a career in engineering and management to pursue his photography interests. Eric believes understanding, appreciating, and protecting the outdoor environment are very important activities. He expresses his love of nature by specializing his photography on fine art nature images and environmental (on location) portraiture. Eric’s studio focuses on creating handcrafted portraits of individuals, families, or groups taken in an outdoor setting or in your home.
